LOCATION: Swansea, St. Clair County, Illinois
PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Taylor Morley Land Development employed our firm to prepare the Boundary and Topographic surveys, Concept Plan, Preliminary Plat, Final Plat and subdivision construction plans for 154 residential lots on a 60 acre tract of land in Swansea, Illinois.  The construction plans included design of all public streets, water mains, sewer mains, storm sewer and grading.  A Traffic Study, Intersection Design Study (IDS) and Construction Plans and Specifications were required for the intersection of the new subdivision entry roadway (Bristol Hill Drive) with an existing St. Clair County Highway (Thouvenot Lane).   As a result, a left-turn lane was constructed on Thouvenot Lane at the subdivision entrance.  Our firm was also retained to provide construction staking for the entire subdivision.
